Pediatric Home Health Nurse- LPN/ RN
About The Position
Centria Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide 1:1 home care for a 1-year-old client in Saginaw, MI. This role involves providing skilled nursing care, including trach and vent management, medication administration, and catheter care. The client is in a great family environment. Nurses should be comfortable around pets (three cats) and physically capable of assisting with transfers, including lifting the client between the bed and floor. This position offers flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time shifts available, including day, night, and weekend options. Centria Healthcare is a Michigan-based provider specializing in private duty nursing, complex pediatric care, and catastrophic injury services.
Requirements
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of Michigan
- A positive, engaging personality—someone who enjoys talking and socializing.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Nice To Haves
- Home care or private duty experience preferred
- Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care)
- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs
- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
- Communicate with families and care teams
