LPN / RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Home Health is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct, one-on-one pediatric home health care in Leland, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. Nurses care for medically fragile infants, children, and adolescents in their homes, following the active plan of care established by the physician and other appropriate personnel. The role is available on full-time and part-time schedules, with day, night, and weekend shifts and shift lengths of 8, 10, 12, or 16 hours. New graduates are welcome, and training is provided. The position includes ongoing patient care and assessment, medication and treatment administration, care coordination, family education, and preventative initiatives to protect quality of care. Starting pay is $29 per hour.
Requirements
- Hold an active RN or LPN/LVN license.
- Provide care in a client home setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their homes, following the active plan of care provided by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct ongoing patient care and assessments.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordinate care.
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes.
- Carry out preventative initiatives to protect the quality of care for the patient.
