About The Position

The Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, in partnership with Texas Children's Hospital, is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Texas Children's Hospital North Austin. This is a primarily clinically focused faculty position with a strong emphasis on patient care. The role involves contributing to the strategic growth and development of the hospital and its services, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset to initiate, build, and expand innovative clinical programs. The position requires providing comprehensive care across the full spectrum of gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition in both outpatient/ambulatory and inpatient consultative settings. The physician will practice with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with other physicians within the division and across system campuses. Responsibilities include performing general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, along with associated interventions.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed a Fellowship Program in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Board certification (or Board eligible) in Pediatric Gastroenterology is required
  • 2+ years of experience in Clinical Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition
