Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of clinical, hospital, and academic partners.
  • Candidates should have a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, medical education, multidisciplinary teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • MD, DO, or equivalent
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Eligible for an unrestricted California physician medical license
  • Eligible for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the Cedars-Sinai Professorial Series
  • Excellent clinical, teaching, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for infants, children, and adolescents with gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.
  • Evaluate and manage patients in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.
  • Collaborate closely with pediatric surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nutrition specialists, transplant services, and other multidisciplinary partners to deliver coordinated care.
  • Teach and mentor pediatric residents, fellows, and medical students within an expanding academic program.
  • Participate in quality improvement, clinical innovation, scholarly activity, and multidisciplinary initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Guerin Children’s.
