Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine are actively seeking pediatric emergency medicine physicians to join their division. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality medical care for children and adolescents in the respective clinical area, with appropriate resource management. The physicians will be faculty at Emory University and part of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, a leading pediatric clinical care provider. The Emergency Departments are among the busiest in the nation, managing over 136,650 visits annually. The Arthur M. Blank Hospital Emergency Department is a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, and Hughes Spalding Hospital Emergency Department also provides critical care. The division is involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, overseeing fellowship programs, and participating in research networks like PECARN and the Gulf 7 Pediatric Disaster Network. Emory University's pediatric department is highly ranked for NIH funding, and the division has strengths in global health, injury prevention, quality improvement, pediatric ultrasound, wilderness medicine, sickle cell care, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
