About The Position
Join a great team where our residents and patients are at the heart of everything we do! Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team at St. Margaret's Center, a 90-bed pediatric skilled nursing facility located in Albany, New York. Nutrition support and pediatric experience, preferred.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credentials and CDN in New York State (RD-eligible candidates will be considered).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- Minimum 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
Nice To Haves
- Nutrition support and pediatric experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to skilled nursing residents.
- Consistently meet DOH/state/federal and company standards.
- Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with nursing & medical staff and attending care conferences as assigned.
- Support the food service operation as needed, including test trays, food service audits, and meal rounds.
