Pediatric Dental Assistant
About The Position
Absolute Dental is urgently hiring a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and help create a fun, positive, and comfortable experience for young patients. This role involves supporting the doctor during pediatric procedures, helping children feel safe and cared for, preparing and turning over treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection control standards, supporting charting and documentation, and working closely with the dental team to ensure smooth operations. While entry-level candidates are considered, some dental experience is required. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including weekday and dedicated weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Must be willing and comfortable working with children
- Some dental experience required
- Positive, patient, and friendly attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset
- Reliable and dependable
- CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling between offices as needed.
