About The Position
Absolute Dental is urgently hiring a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and help create a fun, positive, and comfortable experience for young patients. This role is perfect for someone with a positive attitude, who enjoys working with kids, and wants to grow in the dental field. Entry-level candidates are welcome, but some dental experience is required. The Pediatric Dental Assistant will support the doctor during pediatric procedures while helping children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during their visit.
Requirements
- Must be willing and comfortable working with children
- Some dental experience required
- Positive, patient, and friendly attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset
- Reliable and dependable
- CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling between offices as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assisting the doctor during pediatric dental procedures
- Helping children feel calm, comfortable, and supported
- Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
- Supporting charting and documentation as needed
- Working closely with the dental team to keep the day running smoothly
- Creating a welcoming, kid-friendly experience for patients and families
