About The Position

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a full-time Pediatric Critical Care Intensivist to join their well-established team in Toledo, OH. The role involves working in a Pediatric Level 2 Trauma Unit, which is a 15-bed closed unit serving patients aged 10 days to 18 years. The position requires a mixture of 10-hour and 14-hour shifts, including day and night coverage. This is a hospital-based department position that requires weekend and call coverage. The department is staffed by six Medical Doctors and three Advanced Practice Providers, supported by over 50 additional staff members within the PICU Interdisciplinary Team.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
• Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Pediatric Level 2 Trauma Unit (15-bed closed unit)
• Serve patients aged 10 days to 18 years
