Pediatric Clinic LVN/LPN - fulltime BAMC
About The Position
Seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Clinic LVN. This is a game-changing opportunity for early career Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) with two or more years of Pediatric experience to be part of the Army's Flagship Hospital, San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). SAMMC is a Level One Trauma Center and the largest inpatient Military hospital. This teaching hospital will help to expand and hone clinical skills by developing strong analytical and assessment prowess, training to work with sophisticated equipment, and increasing proficiency using the latest medical technology and interpreting data. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday. Once interviewed and approved for the position, it takes around 6-8 weeks to receive security clearance and a start date.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing by the National League of Nursing
- Valid Nursing license from any US jurisdiction
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- 2 years of pediatric nursing experience within the last 4 years
