About The Position

Pediatric Partners is seeking a Full-Time Pediatric COTA to provide in-home occupational therapy services in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role offers flexibility, meaningful pediatric work, and the chance to make a lasting impact without being tied to a traditional clinic schedule. As a Pediatric COTA, you will help children build confidence, independence, daily living skills, and functional participation in their home environment, with their families, and in their everyday routines.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Texas
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families
  • A compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented approach to care
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centered therapy

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Home health experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatment services under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Carry out individualized treatment plans to support each child’s needs, goals, and family priorities
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in the home setting
  • Support skill development related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, feeding, play, self-care, daily routines, and functional independence
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Recommend strategies and support carryover of therapy goals into daily routines, under the direction of the supervising OT
  • Partner closely with parents and caregivers to encourage carryover between visits
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child-centered care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily notes and progress updates as required
