About The Position

The Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will provide occupational therapy services to patients, focusing on improving their range of motion, strength, mobility, and overall functional abilities. This role involves educating families on therapy techniques, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and administering treatments according to physician-approved plans to enhance patient independence. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including part-time and PRN roles with weekday, afterschool, and Saturday shifts. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school program for Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Texas by the anticipated start date
• 1 year of experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services, including range of motion, strength, mobility, and caregiver training, following physician-approved plans.
• Educates families on occupational therapy techniques.
• Collaborates with team members for comprehensive care.
• Administers therapy to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
