About The Position

This role involves providing pediatric occupational therapy services to improve functional abilities and independence. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will follow physician-approved plans, administer therapy, and educate families on techniques. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for comprehensive and quality care.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school program for Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Texas by the anticipated start date

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

  • Provides occupational therapy services, including range of motion, strength, mobility, and caregiver training, following physician-approved plans.
  • Educates families on occupational therapy techniques and collaborates with team members for comprehensive care.
  • Administers therapy to improve functional abilities and independence.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
