About The Position
Orlando Health Children’s Heart Institute at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced training in Cardiac MRI and CT to join our expanding pediatric heart program. This is an advanced imaging-focused pediatric cardiology position with dedicated time for Cardiac MRI and CT interpretation. The role is integrated with a comprehensive pediatric/congenital/ACHD heart program. TEE and/or Fetal experience is welcomed but not required. This opportunity is available for both experienced physicians and graduating fellows.
Requirements
- M.D., D.O.
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
- Additional advanced training in Cardiac MRI and CT
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics
- Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
Nice To Haves
- TEE proficiency preferred
- Leadership aspirations and interest in program development encouraged
Responsibilities
- Participation in Echo Lab reading schedule
- Limited inpatient service coverage
- Main Ambulatory and Satellite clinic options
- Pediatric Cardiologists share on-call responsibilities equally
- Night call is primarily telephone consultation and occasional remote echocardiogram interpretation with inpatient rounding on weekend.
