About The Position

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join their Montana-based practice in Great Falls, with outreach travel to Helena and Havre. This role offers a unique hybrid career path, combining the independence of a local practice with the extensive resources and academic support of Seattle Children's Hospital. The practice is a collaborative, two-provider team supported by RNs, specialized sonographers, and administrative staff. Responsibilities include managing a variable practice with general pediatric cardiology, fetal cardiology, and consultations for infants through young adults. Providers have 24/7 access to the Heart Center’s multidisciplinary team in Seattle for a seamless continuum of care, from prenatal consultations to complex cardiac surgery. The position allows for leadership in clinical efforts within the community and utilizes IAC-accredited facilities for echocardiography.

Requirements

MD/DO Degree.
Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children’s and other sites as applicable.
Licensed as a Physician in the State of Montana.
Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics and/or specialty as applicable.
Federal DEA Registration.
Must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment, prior to start of employment.
All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year.
Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual's employment at Children's.

Responsibilities

Manage a highly variable practice including general pediatric cardiology, fetal cardiology, and consultation for infants through young adults.
Lead clinical efforts in a community setting.
Provide consultation for infants through young adults.
Utilize IAC-accredited facilities in both transthoracic and fetal echocardiography.
