About The Position

Work Schedule : 90% FTE, 36 hours per week, day shift, Monday – Friday between 7:00AM – 5:00PM, 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating evening/weekend call responsibility and 1-hour response time. You will work at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : This position may be eligible for a $9,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE) Additional components of compensation may include: Evening and night shift differential Weekend differential On-call pay Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicant Be part of something remarkable Our pediatric cardiac sonographers are the heartbeat of the clinic; they’re dedicated to scanning the tiniest hearts with the greatest care. Requirements

Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program
Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field
Registered in Adult Echocardiography (AE) Upon Hire
Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field
Pediatric echocardiography experience
2 years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography testing
Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
