About The Position

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware is seeking Pediatric Anesthesiologists to join their team in Wilmington, DE. The department has 32 Anesthesiologists and 24 CRNAs providing anesthesiology services for over 15,000 cases per year across a wide range of surgical procedures, including solid organ transplantation. Academic appointment is awarded by Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. The department also hosts an accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship program, sponsored by Thomas Jefferson University, focused on training future Pediatric Anesthesia physicians. Nemours Children’s Health is an internationally recognized, multi-site pediatric healthcare system dedicated to improving children's health. Requirements

  • MD, DO or equivalent clinical doctoral degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME Accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program and Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship Program
  • Board Eligibility/Certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology
  • Eligibility to obtain valid DEA and Medical licensure in the state of Delaware
  • An academic record commensurate with appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesiology services for over 15,000 cases per year across the entire spectrum of surgical procedures including solid organ transplantation.
  • Contribute to the training of the next generation of Pediatric Anesthesia physicians through the accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship program.
  • Participate in clinical trials and research opportunities.
