Anesthesiologist - Pediatric
About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California. This role involves providing services Sunday through Saturday, between 0000 to 2359 hours, with shifts typically ranging from 8.5 to 16 hours. Flexibility in hours is needed based on daily case schedules to support patient care. The position includes on-call duties with an average of around 2 call-backs per month. This role offers freedom from malpractice insurance worries. Salary is to be determined, with employee or 1099 status available in the range of $200-$250 per hour.
Requirements
- Board certification in Anesthesiology from either the American Board of Anesthesiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
- Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
- One year of experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric anesthesiology services.
- Be available for on-call duties with potential call-backs.
