About The Position

The Mount Sinai Health System and Kravis Children’s Hospital at Mount Sinai are seeking a Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecologist to join the growing Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. The program, established in January 2019, provides comprehensive and compassionate care for patients from infancy to young adulthood with medical and surgical gynecologic needs in the New York tri-state area. It also supports educational training and mentorship for medical students, residents, and fellows. There is a focus on developing advanced care models for complex patient needs through multidisciplinary partnerships with various pediatric subspecialties. The successful candidate will work with the Division Chief to expand the program and will hold a dual appointment in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics and the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science. Administrative responsibilities include coordination with other services and involvement in developing multidisciplinary groups. Clinical responsibilities involve consultations and co-management in inpatient and outpatient settings within the Mount Sinai Health System in New York and the Children’s Health Valley System in Northern New Jersey. The candidate will also participate in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students within both Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology, and will have support for other academic/scholarly activities.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree.
• BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• New York State Medical License (or eligible).
• New Jersey Medical License (or eligible).
• Meet eligibility requirements for an appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
