Children's Hospital of Michigan, a nationally ranked institution and the first and largest children's hospital in Michigan, is seeking a Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist Physician to join its growing Division of Allergy, Asthma, Immunology and Rheumatology. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, academically engaged team with strong infrastructure, including an infusion center, dedicated research support, and active clinical trials. The position involves a full-time, employed role with 80% clinical effort and 20% protected academic time for teaching, research, quality improvement, and program development. The division is comprised of six Allergy/Immunology faculty members, two Pediatric Rheumatologists, 4 Allergy/Immunology fellows, specialized nursing staff, social workers, advanced practice support, and an established SCID newborn screening program. The role includes a balanced clinical schedule with 6-7 half-day clinics per week and approximately 5-7 days of inpatient consult service per month. There are shared home call responsibilities with no in-house call requirements, and average weekend inpatient consult coverage is 1 every 4-5 weeks. Patient populations include both pediatric and adult patients with a wide range of allergic and immunologic diseases. The position offers an academic appointment with the Department of Pediatrics at Central Michigan University College of Medicine, with additional opportunities for inter-institutional teaching and research collaboration with Michigan State University and Wayne State University School of Medicine.
