About The Position
Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our established Otolaryngology practice. This role involves evaluating patients for pediatric otolaryngology conditions, interpreting lab and other test results, and guiding families through treatment options. You will provide comprehensive care to children in a supportive, team-based environment, making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families. Working alongside a collaborative team of specialists, you'll evaluate patients, interpret diagnostic testing, develop treatment plans, and guide families through every step of their care journey. Requirements
- Washington State Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
- Licensure to practice in Washington State.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience as a licensed ARNP/PA in pediatric health care
- Experience in Pediatric Otolaryngology
Responsibilities
- Sees patients independently in the ambulatory care setting: Conduct physical exams and provide individual care plans for patients.
- Conduct diagnostic assessment, including ordering imaging and other diagnostic studies.
- Assist in the operating room in both an inpatient and ambulatory surgery center setting.
- Collaborate with Mary Bridge Inpatient Provider Services to manage patients admitted Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital.
- Support Mary Bridge Emergency Department call and emergency surgeries.
- Support outpatient clinic call.
- Interpret lab and test results and provide clinical recommendations and supportive guidance.
- Educate patients on disease process and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Manage patients’ treatment as well as medication management.
- Stay up to date on advancements in relevant specialties.
- Partner with the local, state and national programs as necessary.
- Participate in specialized treatment plans and specialized clinics.
