About The Position

Atrium Health Levine Children’s, the largest Children’s health system between Atlanta and Washington, DC, is seeking three Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinicians to join their Virtual Practice Support and Extended Care multisite practice. Clinicians are expected to live in the greater Charlotte, NC, area. The role involves Virtual Practice Support (VPS), where APPs will be affiliated with multiple practices, providing inbox coverage, managing refill requests, performing virtual visits and eVisits, and handling chronic conditions. This VPS role is staffed by Advanced Practice Clinicians supported by a physician team and may include in-office visits for provider coverage. The Extended Care (EC) component involves providing in-person after-hours care on evenings and weekends. The Extended Care location will be open from 5-8pm M-F and 8am-8pm on Sat and Sun. This hybrid model allows for a mix of virtual/remote and direct patient care, enabling clinicians to maintain physical exam skills, develop virtual skills, and engage in direct patient interaction, offering a unique work-life harmony.
