PDR Technician - Crown Autobody and Glass-South
About The Position
Crown Autobody and Glass is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PDR (paintless dent repair) Technician to join their team. This role involves repairing dents, dings, and hail damage on vehicles using specialized paintless dent repair techniques. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality results, customer satisfaction, and vehicle integrity. Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in paintless dent repair or equivalent training
- Strong knowledge of dent repair tools and techniques
- Experience with hail repair volume work
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual transmissions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physical ability to work on your feet and perform repetitive tasks
Nice To Haves
- I-CAR or other industry certifications is an asset
Responsibilities
- Perform paintless dent repairs on a variety of vehicles (door dings, minor creases, hail damage, etc.)
- Inspect vehicles and accurately assess damage
- Use specialized tools to remove dents without compromising the paint finish
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Ensure timely completion of repairs to meet customer expectations and deadlines
