About The Position

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a one-year contract position at Crown Autobody & Glass. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers, guiding them through the autobody repair process, and acting as a first point of contact. Success in this role requires proficiency in multiple computer programs after an initial training period.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Customer-oriented with a desire to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Focused and detail-oriented
• Positive, energetic attitude with a willingness to learn
• Solid command of computers and Microsoft Office programs
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual transmission

Nice To Haves

• Collision centre and/or automotive experience is an asset
• Knowledge of Manitoba Public Insurance processes is an asset
• Other languages spoken are considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide them with a positive first impression
• Guide customers in person, online, and on the phone through the claim and repair process, responding to inquiries, educating them about the MPI process, and booking appointments
• Collaborate with production, the parts team, and MPI, and proactively provide customers with updates on their vehicles to help meet estimated timelines
• Coordinate with insurance companies for claim processing, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Collect payments and signatures from customers as required
• Walk clients to their vehicles on delivery and explain the repairs completed
• Assist with office work as required
