About The Position

The PD Specialist supports educators by helping build skills in instructional areas such as literacy, math, STEM, technology implementation, and blended learning. The role involves collaborating with educators to strengthen their practice and contribute to safe, supportive, and inclusive school environments that foster student growth and development. The position is per diem in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and serves Catapult Learning partner schools. The starting pay rate is $50.00 per diem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Experience teaching math, literacy, technology, or STEM curriculum.
• Experience delivering professional development workshops to adults.
• Experience working in blended learning classrooms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Host collaborative planning conferences with educators.
• Create example lessons that engage students.
• Lead professional development workshops as needed.
• Research and demonstrate instructional strategies.
• Encourage active participation and open discussions.
• Ensure educator development activities are completed successfully.
• Provide required report documentation.
• Communicate with directors about activities.
