About The Position
Wellington Regional Medical Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant Patient Care Technician for its ER Hold area. This seasonal position is full-time, 36 hours per week, on a day-shift schedule. The role performs customer care activities and related services in the patient care area, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and patient care tasks. The employee must be willing to cross-train and float to meet facility needs. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to read and write, with working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Completion of a formal Certified Nursing Assistant training program and current state CNA certification.
- A Florida CNA license is required for the role under the stated licensing requirement.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Good communication skills to relate to customers.
- Ability to perform EKGs.
- Computer skills, including order entry and ADT functions.
