PCT(CNA Certified) ER Hold
About The Position
Wellington Regional Medical Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Patient Care Technician for its ER Hold area. This is a seasonal, full-time position working 36 hours per week on a day-shift schedule. The role performs customer-care activities and related services in the patient-care area, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and patient-care tasks. The employee must be willing to cross-train and float to meet facility needs. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to read and write, with working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Completion of a formal Certified Nursing Assistant training program and current state CNA certification.
- Florida CNA license required for this job, as stated effective August 1, 2013.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Good communication skills to relate to customers.
- Ability to perform EKGs.
- Computer skills, including order entry and ADT functions.
