Stacks Maintenance helps care for the physical collection in the stacks of the PCL, working to keep it neat and orderly for patrons.
Requirements
- Current UT Austin student enrolled in minimum of 6 credits for the Spring 2026 semester
- Must be able to maintain a regular schedule
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Nice To Haves
- Familiar with the Library of Congress system of book organization or previous library experience
- Candidates who meet the required qualifications and demonstrate excellent promise are encouraged to apply and will be given serious consideration.
Responsibilities
- Build RTS carts in call number order
- Shelve daily RTS carts on every floor
- Shift and move books to create and distribute space between shelves
- Other duties as assigned
