About The Position

The Fountain Inn, South Carolina facility serves as the US Centre of Competence for solid carbide tools, with a particular focus on supporting the US aerospace industry through an on-site Aerospace Test Centre. Requirements

  • 3+ years education, experience, OJT program or equivalent, working with EWAG grinding or equivalent machines.
  • Must be able to set up and operate EWAG machine
  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability/use of precision measurement equipment to required tolerances and MAPAL standards
  • Detail oriented and skilled in understanding process workflow.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding Engineering drawings and instructions.
  • Demonstrated experience with metal cutting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints
  • Ability to understand and effectively execute information, verbal instructions, and written procedures
  • Working computer knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office 365
  • Adherence to Plant Safety, Health and Sanitation guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Must ensure all tooling is inspected for proper manufacturing to blueprint specifications and MAPAL standards
  • Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Produce product in accordance with job router, print and capacity in the most efficient manner.
  • Set-up and operate EWAG grinding machine to conform to PCD product specifications
  • Implement and inspect equipment maintenance according to maintenance schedule
  • Ensure work area and equipment are maintained, organized and clean to MAPAL standards
  • Exceed and exhibit all MAPAL behaviors as defined by policy, procedure and standards
