About The Position

Right at Home is hiring caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide compassionate in-home care and support quality of life for clients. The position is based in Pala, California, and the listing specifies a Monday–Friday schedule from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Full-time and part-time openings are available, with other flexible shifts also offered, including mornings, days, overnights, weekdays, and weekends. Care may be provided in clients’ homes or senior living communities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
Have reliable transportation to and from each shift.
Have a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
Be able to pass a full employment background check.
The listing prefers at least one year of caregiving experience and requires no less than six months; family caregiving experience counts. Applicants new to the field may be trained.
High school graduation or a G.E.D. certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
Assist with transferring and moving clients throughout their homes.
Perform household tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping, washing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks.
Provide transportation and accompany clients to errands or appointments.
Provide dementia care.
Offer companionship through activities such as reading, music, crafts, games, and puzzles.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
