This position is a union position and will manage the Department’s payroll and personnel-related financial operations. The role involves developing and maintaining personal services cost projections and budget models, serving as the primary liaison for payroll, benefits, retirement, and workers’ compensation. The position ensures accurate and timely processing through the reconciliation of decentralized payroll and timekeeping systems. It also involves preparing key GAAP reporting data, contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures, independently resolving payroll inquiries, and supporting a wide range of fiscal and administrative functions.
