About The Position

DuraServ is seeking a Payroll Specialist for their Corporate Shared Team Services team. This role is responsible for managing weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles for a national, multi-state workforce. The specialist will administer Time & Attendance in ADP Workforce Now, handle certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements, and manage deductions, special pay, and compliance reporting. The position emphasizes accuracy and reliability in processing payroll, ensuring that the promise of timely and correct payment is met for hundreds of employees across various roles.

Requirements

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll software.
• Demonstrated experience with Certified Payroll reporting and Prevailing Wage.
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state or multi-location environment.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel for payroll reporting and data analysis.
• Experience with HRIS and Time & Attendance systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation and processing of weekly and semi-monthly payroll for a multi-state, multi-location workforce using ADP Workforce Now.
• Manage the Time & Attendance system, resolving timecard errors, auditing time reporting, and ensuring accurate capture of all hours worked.
• Calculate pro-rata pay and administer special pay including stipends, commissions, bonuses, and prevailing wages.
• Handle certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage administration.
• Administer all deductions including benefits, garnishments, and 401K.
• Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal payroll laws and maintain audit-ready payroll records.
• Generate reports for data analysis and compliance verification.
• Serve as a knowledgeable and responsive resource for payroll-related questions from team members and managers.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and branch operations to ensure payroll data integrity across all systems.
• Identify process gaps and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll operations.
