Midland Care Connection is a not-for-profit, community-based organization dedicated to helping older adults and seriously ill individuals stay independent and supported in their homes. Established in 1978, we offer a full continuum of care, including hospice, palliative care, home health, grief and loss counseling, and our signature PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. Our mission centers on "meeting individual needs through innovative care solutions," and we serve people across multiple counties in northeast Kansas. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and organizational payroll regulations. This role manages payroll processing, reviews employee time and attendance records, maintains payroll data, and responds to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and benefits. Working closely with Human Resources and Finance, the Payroll Specialist helps ensure payroll accuracy, supports audits and reporting, and protects the confidentiality of employee information. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential to supporting Midland Care Connection's mission of caring for employees so they can provide exceptional care to the communities they serve.
