Day to day as a Payroll Specialist As a new Payroll Specialist at P&G Steel Products Co Inc, you can expect to engage in a variety of essential tasks that ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collecting and verifying employee time records, calculating wages, and processing payroll for weekly cycles. You will also address employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies and maintain records in compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Collaboration with HR will be key, as you will assist in onboarding new employees and updating payroll information. Your work schedule will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a structured environment that allows you to achieve a work-life balance while focusing on delivering high-quality support to our team.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in payroll processing
• Keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in payroll software and tools
• Executing weekly payroll for up to 200 employees and temporary staff
• Strong numerical skills
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
