  • An associate degree in accounting, finance, or other related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing.

Responsibilities

  • Process timesheet data accurately by validating hours worked, leave taken, and attendance records, ensuring employees are compensated correctly for time worked.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources on new hire setup, terminations, and employee status changes, ensuring seamless payroll transitions that prevent payment errors and maintain data integrity.
  • Administer benefits deductions and garnishments correctly, ensuring proper coordination with benefits providers and legal entities that protects both employee interests and company obligations.
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees, ensuring correct calculation of wages, salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions that maintain employee trust and organizational compliance.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with clarity and professionalism, resolving questions about compensation, deductions, and tax matters that enhance employee satisfaction and reduce confusion.
