About The Position

We are currently accepting applications for a Payroll Analyst position in our Finance department. If interested please complete and submit an application. A payroll specialist is a key individual in the business office and plays an important role in day to day functions. This position requires that an individual maintain professionalism when dealing with all customer groups and have excellent organizational skills. It is important that the payroll specialist is familiar with many functions of the school district in order to give accurate information to the many staff and patrons with whom he/she comes in contact. This individual must possess the organizational skills necessary to manage the variety of tasks which he/she is expected to complete each day.

Requirements

  • College degree and two years extensive payroll experience (computer automated).
  • Highly proficient in all aspects of payroll preparation.
  • Grammar, spelling, arithmetic, analytical and telephone skills.
  • Proficient in typing/computer PC keyboarding.
  • Strong math, accounting skills and experience in salary pro-ration calculations.
  • Ability to keep accurate records, files and reports.
  • Ability to adapt to sole source software.
  • Must have legible handwriting, well groomed, pleasing manners and personality, dependable, reliable, prompt and flexible.
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
