About The Position

This part-time Payroll Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll execution and related accounting entries for a professional services organization. The role is responsible for processing three payrolls per month across two different outsourced payroll platforms and ensuring accurate recording of payroll transactions in the company’s accounting system. Key responsibilities include running a monthly payroll for approximately 42 employees using ArmHR, processing two semi-monthly payrolls for a single employee using ADP Canada, and posting all payroll-related journal entries into Ajera. The specialist will work within defined payroll windows each month and provide ongoing payroll support, record keeping, and assistance with payroll-related initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and comfort managing payroll across multiple systems with varying schedules.
