The Part-Time Payroll Assistant supports the Payroll team in all steps associated with preparing and generating biweekly and monthly payroll. This position serves as a process back-up in the absence of the Payroll Manager and/or Accountant. They will also assist the office of Human Resources and the Business Office during low payroll productivity periods. The Part-Time Payroll Assistant serves on a schedule established by the Payroll Manager. A flexible schedule is necessary for peak business periods and special projects. The position involves frequent handling of confidential information and records. The Payroll Assistant must be able to work independently and in a team environment while accurately prioritizing tasks, meeting critical deadlines and providing excellent internal and external customer service.
