Requirements

  • Experience processing multistate payroll; ADP experience preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, and/or Human Resources
  • Associate’s degree in related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; comfortable working with payroll, benefits, and HR systems
  • Comfortable suggesting and presenting process improvements
  • Experience with D365 or another ERP system preferred
  • Deadline driven in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • ADP experience preferred

  • Experience with D365 or another ERP system preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage full‑cycle biweekly payroll for multistate U.S. operations and Canada, including system maintenance, tax filings, garnishments, overtime, unemployment verifications, employee changes, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, federal and state tax regulations, and applicable employment standards
  • Calculate and process monthly incentive program and commission payments.
  • Administer benefit programs and maintain files and documentation in accordance with regulations and company policies
  • Oversee Workers’ Compensation claims and work with EHS Manager to maintain OSHA documentation
  • Maintain and recommend improvements to HRIS and time & attendance systems.
  • Support audits, reconciliations, census reporting, and payroll‑related accounting activities
  • Respond to employee and vendor payroll inquiries with professionalism, discretion, and timeliness
  • Other duties assigned
