About the Role As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll play an important role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and efficiently across multiple states and business entities. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where priorities and processes continue to evolve, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with change, learns quickly, and enjoys solving problems. This role is a strong fit for someone with solid payroll experience who is ready to move beyond simply completing tasks and take a more analytical approach to their work.

Requirements

At least 3 years of payroll experience.
Experience processing high-volume, multi-state, and multi-entity payroll.
Strong Excel skills, including experience with PivotTables and lookup functions such as XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Comfort working with AI-supported systems and evolving technology.
An analytical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to look beyond task completion to understand and resolve issues.
The ability to adapt to ongoing changes in processes, priorities, and business needs.

Responsibilities

Process high-volume payroll accurately and on time across multiple states and business entities.
Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues before they impact employees.
Partner with internal teams to research and resolve payroll-related questions.
Use Excel and payroll systems to review, organize, and analyze payroll information.
Work with AI-supported systems and new technology designed to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
