We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist/Analyst to join our small, but mighty Finance Team. In this role, you will report directly to our VP, Finance and play a crucial part in ensuring smooth payroll operations and compliance at Semgrep. As Semgrep’s Payroll Specialist/Analyst , you will be responsible for processing payroll, managing payroll taxes, administering equity, and ensuring all employees are compensated accurately and on time. You will work closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll processes align with business needs and legal requirements. This role will require you to manage payroll for US and International team members, oversee payroll system integrations, and address any payroll discrepancies. You will thrive in this role if you have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive data. You will also play a key role in implementing improvements to payroll processes and ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations. Location expectations: Our expectation is that this role will be based in the Bay Area with the ability to come into our San Francisco office 2+ days a week. Prior experience in a fast-paced, tech environment is helpful, but we are more interested in your detail-oriented and problem solving skills than your pedigree.
