About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to manage the payroll processing for a large employee base in a dynamic and regulatory-compliant environment. This temporary position offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading tools and contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of payroll experience in a GovCon environment (DoD preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Costpoint and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Experience managing payroll for large employee populations (1,500–2,500).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with UKG or similar HRIS/payroll systems is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll cycles for approximately 2,000 employees.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including regular pay, bonuses, and corrections.
  • Manage and audit employee timesheets using Costpoint (Time & Expense and Timesheets modules).
  • Perform frequent timesheet corrections and resolve discrepancies in compliance with company and government policies.
  • Utilize Costpoint extensively for payroll and timekeeping functions.
  • Leverage UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) as a supplementary tool for workforce management.
  • Analyze payroll data using Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to generate reports and support audits.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal and external compliance reviews.
  • Ensure payroll practices align with government contracting regulations, particularly DoD standards.
  • Support internal audits and respond to inquiries from finance, HR, and external agencies.
