About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Payroll Specialist/Accounting Clerk to join our team! This role performs payroll duties at a professional level, including reporting procedures and recaps, maintaining payroll records and reports, and resolving employee questions/changes regarding payroll. The position also assists with general accounting duties for the facility. Mountain View Hospital and its 29 affiliate clinics are dedicated to providing compassionate, cutting-edge care. Requirements

• Associate Degree in Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll and basic accounting procedures.
• One to five years minimum of related work experience.
• Ability to use personal computer, various word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
• Working knowledge of general office machines, such as scanner, postage meter and copiers.
• Ability to master hospital information system and human resource software (Paycom).
• Communicates effectively in English, both verbally and in written form in a concise and effective manner.
• Good working abilities in math and some accounting and auditing skills necessary.
• Can understand and follow instructions.
• Must be customer service oriented and work well under stress.
• Must maintain in the strictest confidence information received concerning confidential matters.
• Has ability to remain neutral.

Responsibilities

• Performs payroll duties at the professional level.
• Fulfills all payroll duties including reporting procedures and recaps.
• Maintains payroll records and reports.
• Resolves employee questions/changes regarding payroll.
• Assists with general accounting duties for the facility.
