About The Position

ADP is seeking a Payroll Implementation Consultant to join their team. This role involves carrying the ADP relationship forward after a sale and enabling the first interaction between mid-sized business clients and ADP's payroll and HR solutions. The consultant will build relationships with clients and implement ADP's technologies to ensure client success and positively impact clients' employees' daily lives. The role requires understanding client business needs, analyzing systems and processes, and guiding clients toward the best solutions. The position involves working with diverse clients across geographies and industries, requiring adaptability and continuous learning supported by ADP's training programs. Success in this role depends on comfort in a metrics-driven environment, eagerness to learn, adaptability to change, strong client rapport-building skills, professionalism, clear communication, and a focus on client satisfaction. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working in a client service/customer service environment or systems integration environment
  • Basic project management skills
  • Ability to work overtime hours during peak seasons

Nice To Haves

  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred but not required.
  • Workforce Now experience/knowledge highly preferred.
  • Implementation experience highly preferred.
  • Payroll knowledge including payroll skills for processing Client payrolls.
  • Accuracy and dependability important since errors or omissions can directly impact Client associate paychecks, and errors in reporting can also lead to penalty and interest payments for ADP.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll tax principles and wage and hour laws.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems through effective customer interface and communication.
  • Able to work under time constraints to ensure that deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

  • Create exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation.
  • Help clients develop the skills and confidence to use ADP products with ease through expertise and relationship-building.
  • Consult with clients and analyze existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes to deliver a comprehensive ADP solution.
  • Incorporate new processes, tools, and approaches when recommending and implementing the ADP solution.
  • Collaborate with ADP associates in sales and customer service.
  • Exchange routine information with members of the client project team, including priorities, timeliness, and issues as they arise.
  • Work on multiple time-sensitive projects and follow-up items simultaneously.
  • Share essential information with clients and ADP teams.
  • Adhere to a daily schedule and organize to handle a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Potentially increase daily phone time during peak seasons, like the close of the calendar year.
