The primary purpose of this job position is to assist the DSD/DON/Administrator in administering policies and implementing facility orientation. This role involves supporting organizational goals and values, receiving and following instructions from supervisors, and upholding strict confidentiality. The position assists in organizing new employee orientation, maintaining knowledge of legal requirements, and supporting recruitment and on-boarding. It also involves administering benefits programs, working with the Risk Manager on HR/WC cases, coordinating safety programs, and documenting drills. The role requires courteous communication, promoting good public relations, advertising available positions, and contributing to team efforts. Regular attendance and dependability are essential. This position may also assist with payroll duties, participate in facility surveys, and develop good working relationships with inter-department personnel. Additionally, it involves recording incidents/accidents and ensuring the confidentiality of resident health information. The role also manages workflow to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including monitoring garnishments, updating payroll records, issuing paychecks, preparing reports, processing manual checks and termination payroll, determining payroll liabilities, monitoring accruals, completing employment verifications, preparing payroll allocations reports, reconciling payroll, balancing accounts, and providing payroll information. The position maintains employee confidence by keeping information confidential and partners with the HRBP on complex HR cases, completing audits to ensure compliance.
