The primary purpose of this job position is to assist the DSD/DON/Administrator in administering policies and implementing facility orientation. This role supports organizational goals and values, requiring strict confidentiality, a team-oriented approach, and self-starter initiative. The coordinator will assist in organizing new employee orientation, maintaining knowledge of legal requirements, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding. They will also manage benefits programs, coordinate safety and health examinations, document drills, and maintain good public relations. Additionally, this role involves managing payroll duties, including processing transactions, monitoring garnishments, updating records, issuing paychecks, preparing reports, processing manual and termination checks, determining payroll liabilities, monitoring accruals, verifying employment, preparing allocation reports, reconciling payroll, and answering payroll-related questions. The position may also partner with HR Business Partners on complex HR cases and complete audits for compliance. This position may have supervisor responsibilities for a HR Assistant.
