The Payroll Coordinator supports the timely and accurate processing of weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws. This role maintains employee data, assists with audits, and provides exceptional service to both employees and managers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll-related
  • Strong attention to detail and
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (ADP Vantage or EPAY a plus).
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent technical
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of multi-state wage and hour
  • Familiarity with federal and state labor compliance
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on
  • Audit and balance payroll input to ensure completeness and
  • Review and validate new hire entries, employee changes, and termination
  • Enter and maintain data related to direct deposits, adjustments, and special pay
  • Assist with stop payment and reissue requests in coordination with the Payroll Analyst and Operations
  • Set up and distribute Wisely pay
  • Prepare and distribute labor and payroll reports for
  • Maintain weekly roster reports and assist with data
  • Send weekly audit trails (e.g., overtime, active/no-pay, exceptions).
  • Track and report PTO usage and
  • Maintain and distribute payroll timesheets and EPAY contact
  • Provide responsive and professional customer service to employees and managers regarding payroll and timekeeping issues.
