Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in payroll processing or related field
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and practices
• Proficiency in using payroll software or systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Nice To Haves

• Additional education in accounting or payroll is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process and verify employee time and attendance records
• Calculate and enter payroll data, including wages, bonuses, and deductions
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and company policies
• Generate payroll reports and distribute paychecks or direct deposits
• Address employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate payroll records and files
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations
• Assist with payroll-related projects and process improvements
