About The Position

The payroll coordinator performs all activities necessary to process payroll on a weekly basis.

Requirements

  • Part-time availability
  • Ability to process payroll on a weekly basis
  • Review payroll documentation for accuracy
  • Make necessary adjustments to payroll
  • Obtain necessary approvals for payroll adjustments
  • Communicate with HR Department regarding payroll data integrity
  • Process special payrolls (annual bonus, year-end adjustments)
  • Research and resolve payroll-related questions from managers, supervisors, and employees
  • Handle inquiries regarding PTO, direct deposit, garnishments, and employment verifications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Familiarity with Fortune 500 customers in technology, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and medical industries
  • Knowledge of ISO-9001 certification standards

Responsibilities

  • Reviews payroll documentation for accuracy through audit reports and makes any necessary adjustments while obtaining necessary approvals
  • Communicates with the HR Department to ensure the integrity of the payroll data including new hires, terminations, and rate changes
  • Processes special payrolls, including the annual bonus and year-end adjustments
  • Researches and resolves questions from managers, supervisors, and employees as they relate to the processing of payroll information such as PTO, banking information for direct deposit, garnishments, employment verifications, etc.
