About The Position

Potamkin Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Automotive Payroll Clerk to join our team. The Payroll Clerk is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing for our network of auto dealerships. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. You will be responsible for researching and resolving discrepancies related to payroll, including missed time and punches. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be punctual, self-disciplined, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous payroll experience is required.
• Experience in ADP workforce
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of tax regulations, compensation, wage structures, benefits administration, and state and federal law.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a dealership setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for 100 - 200 employees on a weekly, semi-monthly and monthly basis.
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to missed time and missed punches.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise strong judgment regarding sensitive information.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members and management.
• Demonstrate punctuality and self-discipline in completing critical tasks to meet deadlines.
• Work well under pressure and manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks.
• Maintain an update employee personnel files.
• Onboard new hires
